The crisis between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states following Riyadh’s actions against Lebanon under the pretext of publishing remarks by Lebanese media minister George Qardahi criticizing the Yemeni war over the past month has received significant news in the regional media. In this new study, the Center for Internal Security Studies of the Zionist regime affiliated to Tel Aviv University examined the crisis between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia and a number of other Arab countries in the Persian Gulf, and wrote that the crisis started by Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Kuwait and the UAE also joined it and it is very dangerous news for Lebanon, which is on the verge of collapse.
The Center for Israel Internal Security Studies added that Saudi Arabia had used George Qardahi’s remarks to create a crisis in Lebanon with the aim of attacking Hezbollah and the new Lebanese government headed by Najib Mikati, which is controlled by Hezbollah.
If this crisis is not resolved, Lebanon will suffer a great blow, especially at the level of the economy; because everyone knows that the Lebanese economy is going through a terrible crisis, and as a result, the continuation of the current crisis will lead to the defeat of the new government and its fall.
The report of the Zionist Studies Center states that the continuation of the crisis between Lebanon and the Arab countries will lead the country to Hezbollah and Iran, which are fundamentally contrary to the interests of Israel and the West. Saudi Arabia has made a dangerous bet when it used its latest weapon, economic pressure against the country, after failing in all its previous attempts to dominate and influence the Sunni camp in Lebanon.

The Israeli center added that, given the current situation, Western countries, as well as Israel, should take immediate action to resolve the crisis in order to weaken Hezbollah. Western countries are now obliged to intervene immediately to end this crisis. The United States and France must also lead the campaign to end the current crisis between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states; Because the continuation of this crisis is against the interests of the West and Israel and on the contrary in favor of Iran and will increase its influence in the Middle East.
