Yemeni authorities and social media react to a decision; The United Nations deals with humanity

The UN Secretary-General’s decision to put Yemen’s Ansarullah on the list of violators of children’s rights and to ignore Saudi crimes in killing Yemeni children has provoked strong reactions from Sanaa officials as well as social media users.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’ decision to put Yemen’s Ansarullah on the list of child abusers, to refuse to include the Zionist regime in the list, and to ignore Saudi crimes against Yemeni children have provoked strong reactions.

Sanaa officials said the UN secretary-general’s decision was aimed at keeping him as secretary-general by trampling on the blood of Yemeni children and under the influence of Saudi oil dollars.

The United Nations does not want to see the daily crimes of the Riyadh Coalition against Yemeni children

The Yemeni parliament convened a session chaired by Yahya al-Rai and condemned UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’ decision to blacklist Yemen as a child violator.

The Yemeni parliament announced: With the Saudi-Emirati coalition martyring children, women and the elderly in Yemen on a daily basis, the United Nations and the Security Council are just spectators.

The Yemeni parliament stressed: During the seven years of war and killing of women and children, the United Nations and the Security Council have taken no action in response to what has happened to the Yemeni people and have remained silent in the face of the killing and siege of Yemen.

The Yemeni parliament stressed: Instead of acting responsibly to protect children and protect their rights against abusive acts, the United Nations and all its affiliated institutions and organizations cover up the crimes of criminals and murderers. This irresponsible decision is highly disgusting.

Saudi Arabia has bought the UN and the Security Council

The head of the Yemeni National Salvation Government, Abdul Aziz bin Habtour, also condemned it in response to the UN decision to include Ansar al-Yamin in the list of human rights violators.

Habtour emphasized: Despite the brutal crimes against our nation, the Yemeni army and popular committees practiced the morality of war and never targeted civilians and children. The UN decision to put Yemen’s Ansarullah on the list of violators of children’s rights is in fact an attempt to pressure us to make oppressive decisions.

By what criteria are the aggressors who killed more than 50 children not violating their rights?

On the other hand, Jalal al-Rawishan, the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs of the Yemeni National Salvation Government, said: It is very unfortunate that the UN, which should be neutral, acts in this way and holds the post (re-election of the UN Secretary General) at the expense of the blood of Yemeni children.

Al-Rawishan emphasized: Our positions in defense of ourselves are firm. Our hands are extended to a peace that preserves the dignity of the Yemeni people, and this decision or other similar cases will not interfere with our decisions.

What has the United Nations done for Yemen, which insists on the rights of children and humanity?

Yemeni Minister of Health Taha al-Mutawakil strongly condemned the UN action in placing Yemeni Ansarullah on the list of child rights violators and ignoring the Saudi coalition, which is the real killer of Yemeni children.

Al- Mutawakil stressed: UNICEF has stopped all support for children in Yemen, while more than 400,000 children are suffering from severe malnutrition and 80,000 of them are at risk of death.

He stressed: More than 3,000 children need open heart surgery. The United Nations is witnessing and collaborating with the killing of Yemeni children. About 300 Yemeni children die every day as a result of the siege imposed on our country, and this is in the shadow of the shameful silence of the United Nations.

Earlier, the Yemeni Ansarullah movement’s political bureau condemned UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’ decision to include Ansarullah on the list of so-called child rights violators.

Ansarullah’s political bureau stressed in the statement that by doing so, the UN Secretary-General had put his name and that of his institution on a stigma.

The United Nations in the hands of the lords of power and money

“Mohammad Abdul Salam, the head of the negotiating team and the official spokesman of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, reacted to the UN action to include the movement in the” black list “of countries and groups that violate children’s rights, saying: The United Nations acts as a platform for the benefit of big countries, and the inclusion of Ansarullah in the blacklist of countries and groups that violate children’s rights has also been biased.

The Yemeni official also tweeted: The Yemeni position is defensive in the face of the Saudi coalition’s invasion of Yemen. The cessation of the war and the end of the siege is in the hands of the one who invaded Yemen and put the country under economic siege.

Bad UN record of trampling on rights

Meanwhile, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council and a prominent Ansar al-Islam leader, stressed that the UN Secretary-General’s decision was not in line with field facts and the reports of independent committees.

He called for the publication of images of war crimes against Yemen on various media and social networks in order to clarify the truth.

Social media users outraged by UN rights killings

Social media users have also criticized the UN for its hostile action against the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, writing that the UN has listed the Ansarullah movement as a child violator, while acquitting the aggressor coalition, which is the real killer of the Yemeni people.

A user named “Saif al-Quds” wrote: The international community and the United Nations are the main partners in killing the Yemeni people.

This account also wrote in another tweet: The United States claims to defend human rights around the world; while that nation is killing and besieging Yemen, and now, according to UN reports, Yemen is experiencing the greatest humanitarian catastrophe in the world.

Another user, Jamila al-Warafi, tweeted: The UN is killing Yemeni children. Global hypocrisy against Yemeni children.

“Ahmad al-Fadhli” also published a picture of the Saudi Crown Prince in a blood-stained cloak of Yemeni children in response to the inclusion of Ansarullah in the list of groups violating children’s rights and wrote: “The United Nations is doing business with humanity.”

Bilal al-Ghiasi also sharply criticized the aggressors against the Yemeni nation, writing: Save the Yemeni children from the crimes of the United States, the United Nations and Al Saud. Save the Yemeni children from the bloodthirsty criminals and murderers. The UN kills Yemeni children.
