Yemen Oil Company: The United Nations should be neutral in the Sana’a issue

Pak Sahafat – The spokesperson of the Yemen Oil Company on Sunday night said that the Saudi coalition is preventing the regular arrival of ships carrying fuel to the ports of Yemen and asked the United Nations to be neutral on the issue of Sana’a.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s Al-Masira report, “Essam Mutawakkel” said: If oil-carrying ships enter the ports of Yemen regularly and without being seized by the Saudi coalition, there will be no fuel crisis in Yemen.

He added: The fuel crisis that has recently arisen in Yemen exposed the false claims of the United Nations representative in Yemen regarding the regular arrival of ships carrying fuel to Yemen.

The spokesperson of Yemen Oil Company added that the aggressor coalition has put a series of measures and obstacles in the way of businessmen and traders to prevent the import of oil derivatives to Yemen.

Referring to the lifting of the seizure of a number of ships carrying Yemeni fuel by the Saudi coalition, Mutawakkel said that the aggressor coalition was forced to allow the ships to enter Yemen after they tried to deny the seizure of the ships.

He also added that the Saudi coalition countries use mercenaries as a tool to blockade Yemen.

In the end, the spokesperson of the Yemen Oil Company said: The United Nations should deal impartially with the case of Yemen instead of complicity with the aggressor countries.

Yemeni Oil Minister: The enemy is trading with the suffering of the Yemeni people

Earlier, “Ahmad Abdullah Dares”, the Minister of Oil of Yemen, said that the enemy is doing business with the sufferings of the Yemeni nation, who are counting the moments for peace.

He added: The aggressor coalition has still seized five fuel-carrying ships in Djibouti, despite their inspection and obtaining a UN permit.

During the months of August and September, the Saudi coalition seized 13 Yemeni fuel ships despite the inspection and permission of the United Nations.

Mahdi al-Mashat, the head of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, had previously warned the Saudi coalition about the continued seizure of ships carrying fuel, which is a clear violation of the ceasefire.

The Minister of Defense of Yemen also emphasized that the armed forces of Yemen are fully prepared to implement any decision by the head of the Supreme Political Council of this country.

The ceasefire in Yemen, which has been repeatedly violated by the aggressor Saudi coalition, was extended once before following the consultations of the United Nations. The 2-month extension of this ceasefire ended on August 11, which was extended again.

Saudi Arabia, in the form of a coalition of several Arab countries, including the UAE, and with the help and green light of the United States and the support of the Zionist regime, started large-scale attacks against Yemen – the poorest Arab country – from April 6, 2017.

Contrary to the expectations of the Saudis, their attacks hit the strong shield of the resistance of the Yemeni people, and after seven years of persistence and painful strikes by the Yemenis deep into Saudi lands, especially the Aramco facilities, Riyadh was forced to agree to a ceasefire in the hope of getting out of the swamp of war in Yemen.
