The head of Sudan’s governing council met with King Salman in Saudi Arabia as protests against military rule continued in Sudan.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, the head of Sudan’s Transitional Governance Council met with senior Saudi officials to review bilateral relations and Red Sea security.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia hosted Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Governing Council, on Monday night.

Abdel Fattah al-Burhan also met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss various aspects of Sudan-Saudi relations, ways to expand them, and Saudi cooperation in investing in Sudan.

Coordination and cooperation to ensure the security of the Red Sea and cooperation in the military field and exchange of experiences were other issues discussed in these meetings.

Al-Burhan praised Saudi Arabia for its important role in supporting Sudan’s transitional government.

The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, while emphasizing the continuation of this support, said that the Saudi Investment Fund is ready to increase investment in Sudan.
