We hope that Saudi Arabia will soon release the Palestinians detained in this country

The head of the political bureau of the Hamas Islamic Resistance Movement expressed hope that Saudi Arabia would soon release Palestinians detained in the country.

According to Palestine Today, Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of the Hamas Islamic Resistance Movement, reacted to the news of the Saudi judiciary’s decision to sentence the Palestinians detained in the country.

According to the report, the head of the political bureau of the Hamas resistance movement expressed hope that these individuals, led by Dr. Mohammad Khezri, the representative of Hamas in Saudi Arabia, would eventually be released and their case would be closed.

Ismail Haniyeh stated that we hope that the Saudi judiciary will issue a ruling in support of the nation and the just cause of Palestine and close this case forever. Earlier, Amnesty International called for the unconditional release of Mohammed al-Khadiri, a detained member of the Hamas movement in Saudi Arabia. Amnesty International also stressed the need for the release of Hani, the son of a Hamas member.

Recently, human rights organizations issued separate statements calling for the immediate release of a detained Hamas member in Saudi Arabia. Fawzi Barhoum, a spokesman for the Hamas Islamic Resistance Movement, also said: We call for the immediate release of Palestinian detainees, especially Mohammed al-Khadiri, from Saudi prisons.

The point to consider about the Palestinian detainees in Saudi Arabia is that they were mainly supporters of the resistance. However, Saudi officials provided the basis for their detention by making baseless allegations against them.

Therefore, it seems that the Saudi authorities intend to use the Palestinian prisoners as a lever to put pressure on the resistance groups, especially Hamas, to force them to comply with the demands of the Zionists.
