US F-16 fighter jets enter Prince Sultan’s Saudi base

The US Central Command announced the arrival of F-16 fighter jets at the Prince Sultan of Saudi Arabia air base.

The US Central Command wrote on its Twitter page on Tuesday that the deployment of F-16 fighter jets at Prince Sultan’s base is aimed at increasing the power of the US Central Command in order to deter and prevent attacks and strengthen regional security and stability in Saudi Arabia.

The US Central Command emphasized that these fighters belong to the 113th Air Regiment of the US National Guard, known as the “Capital Guard”, and one of the tasks of these fighters is to upgrade the defense capability of Prince Sultan Air Base.

The US Central Command announced last week that F-18 Hornet fighters as well as B1b strategic bombers that need a dedicated flight runway were sent to Saudi Arabia.

The US Central Command released a video showing the power of Prince Sultan Air Base in the year 2019, showing the “b1b” bombers landing at the Saudi base.
