The Saudi energy minister called oil the reason for his country’s approach to developing relations with China

Pak Sahafat – Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Energy Minister, revealed on Sunday night why his country is paying attention to development with China and said that the main reason for this approach is the increase in China’s demand for oil purchases.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Akhbariya network, bin Salman, who was speaking on the sidelines of the trade meeting between the Arab countries and China in Riyadh, added: This issue is simple when it comes to oil, China’s demand for oil imports continues to increase, that’s why we need to get a part of this demand.

He further added: We are looking for investment in China, we have an ambitious plan for this, and perhaps the most important aspect is the Chinese investment (in Saudi Arabia).

In the end, Prince Abdul Aziz said: We will do both, whether it is investing in China or Chinese investing in Saudi Arabia.

On the other hand, “Khalid al-Falih”, the Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia, announced the beginning of the modern and new Silk Road between China and Arab countries.
