Nasser al-Qadwa, chairman of the Palestinian National Democratic Assembly and chairman of the Al-Hurriya list in the Palestinian elections, announced his support for Marwan al-Barghouti in the Palestinian presidential election.
Al-Qadwa said after entering the Gaza Strip: Marwan al-Barghouti will run in the Palestinian elections, and we have decided to support his candidacy in this campaign.
He continued: On the twentieth anniversary of the arrest of Marwan al-Barghouti, we express our solidarity with him from Gaza and wish him success.
He emphasized the need to focus on the Palestinian people, and said that it was even more important now with the crisis.
He spoke about his presence in Gaza: The natural situation is for me to be present in Gaza, because this region is the center of the struggle and the elections, and it is very important for someone who wants to be present in the political arena, especially the elections.
He stressed that the restoration of unity is a lofty national goal, without which the progress of Palestine is not possible.
