The hiding of the American ambassador in Iraq opinions / Will Washington change its ambassador?

Pak Sahafat – Elina Romanovsky, the US ambassador to Iraq, has disappeared from sight and surprisingly left the Iraqi political scene, and his incomprehensible movements have disappeared in a suspicious manner.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, most political parties and members of the Iraqi parliament were angry with the actions of the American ambassador in this country, which were a clear violation of Iraqi sovereignty and his many actions, which were done only with the aim of shuffling the political cards and drawing a false image of the new government.

According to different scenarios, the movements he was doing may be the main reason for his disappearance, or he is preparing for what is going to happen in the future, or he “dropped the camel with the rain” and closed the Iraq case.

“Elina Romanovsky” disappeared from the scene of Iraq after his last tweet about US sanctions against 14 Iraqi banks and his claim that Washington did not impose any fines on Iraqi banks.

It is said that the US ambassador to Iraq has gone to Washington, “Jasem al-Bayati”, one of the leaders of the Rule of Law coalition, told Al-Malouma news agency that the US ambassador’s return to Washington has nothing to do with Iraq’s political affairs.

He added: There is a problem between the American government and Elina Romanovsky, Washington’s ambassador to Iraq, which has nothing to do with Iraq.

The leader of the Rule of Law coalition pointed out that the US felt that its ambassador’s move was out of the normal framework and added: The Washington government decided to leave its ambassador in Baghdad after feeling the danger and fear of making a new mistake.

He stated: There is talk of replacing the ambassador and there will be a new ambassador for America in Iraq.

The movements of the Iraqi parliament against the interference of the American ambassador in Baghdad/ the impeachment of the foreign minister were keyed

Al-Bayati said: Iraqis look at the appointment of the ambassador in Baghdad with a set of criteria that the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs is already satisfied with, but we don’t care who the new American ambassador to Iraq is and what is his name?

This leader of the Government of Law coalition headed by Nouri al-Maliki pointed out that the return of the US ambassador to Iraq to Washington and his recall has nothing to do with the Iraqi issue, and added: America is trying to send the message that it is still not satisfied with the government of “Mohammed Shia al-Sudani”.

The idea of calling the American ambassador to Washington and withdrawing him from the Iraq case, which was expressed by al-Bayati, is different from the idea of ”Saad al-Zubaidi”, an Iraqi political analyst.

In an interview with Al-Malouma news agency, Al-Zubaidi pointed out that Washington’s ambassador in Baghdad does not work on the basis of chaos, but there is a strategy that is guided by the research centers of the American government.

He continued: The American government is trying to reduce Iraqi personalities who are not in line with Washington so that the most people who are in line with America win in the provincial elections.

Al-Zubaidi added: It is expected that as a result of the consensus of views between the US government and these political parties and individuals, Washington will support some independent, secular personalities and civil activists in addition to Sunnis and Kurds.

Romanowski has been the US ambassador to Kuwait since 2019, after receiving Senate confirmation. He is from the state of Illinois, America, and both his parents are immigrants; His father is from Poland and his mother is from Canada.
