According to a Saudi source, the Crown Prince issued a house arrest warrant for “Mashhour bin Abdulaziz”, his uncle and father-in-law.
A Saudi source reported that Muhammad bin Salman was angry with his uncle and father-in-law, the Mashhour bin Abdul Aziz.
The source told Saudi WikiLeaks that bin Salman’s house arrest warrant for his father-in-law came after he met with a senior US security official without informing Saudi security officials.
The Mashhour bin Abdul Aziz is the father of “Sarah binte Mashhour”, the wife of Muhammad bin Salman and the half-brother of the Saudi king. Apart from him, four of Abdul Aziz al-Saud’s sons, including Mamdouh, Ahmad, Abdullah and Muqrin, are still alive and all younger than King Salman and could pose a threat to the kingdom of Muhammad bin Salman.
