Yemeni sources reported that Yemeni forces managed the liberation of the Al-Hathira area in the city of Harz.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, Yemeni Ansarullah forces seized control of a strategic border area with Saudi Arabia in a clash with mercenaries from the Saudi-Emirati coalition on Thursday evening.
Yemeni news website quoted military sources as saying that Yemeni forces managed to liberate the al-Hathira area in the city of Harz.
The sources also reported that Yemeni forces were able to take control of a camp in the area. The camp was home to Sudanese mercenaries.
The forces of the Yemeni army and popular committees succeeded in dominating the “Al-Kasara” mountain range in Haraz on March 22nd. The city of Harz is one of the most important cities in Yemen because it has a vital and important passage that connects it to Saudi Arabia. These mountain ranges were previously surrounded by mercenaries of the Saudi coalition.

The Yemeni Armed Forces also issued a statement detailing the operation against the Saudi army and its mercenaries on the Harz axis: The number of casualties of the invading forces since the last escalation of tensions in Haraz has reached more than 580 dead and wounded. Of these, 200 have been killed and a number of Saudi soldiers and Sudanese mercenaries are among those killed and wounded.
According to Yahya Sari, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, the invading forces from two main axes, one in the southeast of Harz and the other in the south of the Alnar Mountains, with the help of Saudi brigades, started their aggression against this border city, but different military units participated in the operation against these aggressors and prevented their advance despite support.
The Yemeni missile and drone forces also carried out special operations against the gatherings and bases of the invading forces in the Haradh axis and the areas under its control. The Yemeni artillery unit also made significant contributions to targeting enemy positions and inflicting damage on the aggressors.
