Disclosure of US-al-Qaeda contacts in Yemen

The Interior Ministry of the Yemeni National Salvation Government announced that it was monitoring US contacts with al-Qaeda leaders in Aden and Ma’rib and coordinating between them.

The Interior Ministry in the Yemeni National Salvation Government released more information about the movements of extremist groups in northern and southern Yemen and the US role in inciting them.

According to the Al-Bawaba Al-Akhbariya Al-Alamiya website, this coincides with the control of Sanaa forces over more military bases and strategic headquarters in Ma’rib in the northeast of the country, where extremist groups allied with the Saudi coalition are one of the pillars of the conflict.

Yemeni Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Khaliq al-Ajri, referring to the long-standing involvement of two branches of al-Qaeda in the Yemeni war, said: The ministry’s security services have monitored contacts between al-Qaeda leaders in Aden and members of the terrorist group fighting in Ma’rib.

He added: There are 85 foreign leaders in al-Qaeda in Ma’rib, some of whom have direct links to the United States, whose role in inciting terrorist groups is not hidden.

Al-Qaeda and ISIS have been with the aggressors in the current war against Yemen since the first day of the Saudi coalition’s invasion of Yemen, and during the years of this aggression, al-Qaeda forces have fought against the army and popular committees in various provinces and they are obviously given Western weapons.

Even now, Al-Islah Party, Al-Qaeda and ISIS have all gathered in Ma’rib to defend a single Takfiri ideology, and this province is their last stronghold. The dissatisfaction of the United States and its allies with the liberation of Ma’rib indicates its support and oversight of takfiri organizations, and there is clear evidence that these groups are essentially made and paid for by the United States and serve its purposes.
