Basra, Iraq; The hottest place in the world

Pak Sahafat – Iraq’s Basra province was recorded as the hottest place in the world in the last 24 hours.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from the Iraqi media, in the latest update of the “Eldorado Weather” website, which specializes in world temperatures, Basra province of Iraq was at the top of the list of the hottest cities in the world in the last 24 hours, with a temperature of 50 degrees Celsius.

According to this report, the provinces of “Al Muthani” with 49.2, “Najaf Ashraf” with 49, “Wasit” with 48.6, “Zhi Qar” with 48.6 and “Al-Divaniyeh” with 48.5 degrees Celsius. Iraq was among the hottest places in the world in the last 24 hours, along with “Abadan” and “Ahvaz” provinces of Iran and “Salabia” region in Kuwait.

Today, the government of Iran decided to declare Wednesday and Thursday of this week closed due to the unprecedented heat throughout the country.

“Ali Bahadri Jahrami”, the spokesperson of the Iranian government, announced that in order to protect the health of the citizens, the government board agreed with the proposal of the Ministry of Health to close on Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the country.
