Aramco shares fall and Washington warns its citizens to travel to Saudi Arabia

The successful operation of the Yemeni armed forces deep in Saudi territory, in addition to the fall of Aramco shares, caused Washington to warn its citizens about traveling to Saudi Arabia.

The US State Department warned its citizens to travel to Saudi Arabia on Thursday (April 15th) following a successful and widespread missile and drone operation by the Yemeni army and popular committees against sensitive areas in Saudi Arabia due to increased operations by the Yemeni armed forces. Avoid in the depths of Saudi territory, especially near military bases and southern borders.

The report stated: Following the emphasis of Brigadier General Yahya Sari, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, on a missile and drone strike early Thursday morning on sensitive areas in the city of Jazan, including Aramco, shares of Saudi oil giant Aramco (2222.SE); Fell 0.3 percent.

On the other hand, various sources confirmed that the operation caused fires in five tanks of Aramco oil products.

A spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces said in detail that the Yemeni Missile and UAV unit, in a joint operation with 11 Aramco missiles and UAVs, targeted Patriot systems and critical targets in Jizan.

Yahya Sari further stated that Aramco was targeted with a series of other targets with 7 “Saeer” and “Badr” missiles, which were dealt with accurately, so that a large fire broke out in Aramco.

A spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces concluded the statement by saying that the move was in response to Saudi Arabia’s continued aggression, siege and ongoing crimes against the Yemeni people, the last of which took place yesterday in Saada.

He also warned the Saudi regime that it would see a wider and larger operation if the aggression and siege of Yemen continued.
