Pak Sahafat – After the meeting of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad with Haitham bin Tariq Sultan of Oman in Muscat, the Arabic-language publication “Oman” wrote that Syria stood firm against the global conspiracy against it and the time for Arab countries to return to Syria and normalize relations with this country has passed.
In its editorial on Tuesday, Oman magazine began with the question, “Aren’t the Arabs responsible for a part of what happened and is happening in Syria?”
This publication added: This question should have been asked a decade ago, when many Arab countries turned their backs on Syria and left it alone to face international organizations, groups and terrorist groups supported by major powers – mostly with Arab funds. Their goal was to weaken and break Syria in the framework of the plan to break and fragment the Arab world, which actually started in 2003 with the occupation of Iraq by America. Instead of the Arab countries and the Arab League standing together to support Syria and defend its territorial integrity, many of them voted to suspend Syria’s membership in the Arab League.
Today, as a result of all the events that have happened, Israel, as the only beneficiary of what has happened and is happening in Syria, does not hesitate to bomb residential neighborhoods in the center of Damascus, the capital of Syria, to intensify the pain and suffering of this country. This is the time when the media and news agencies do not publish any statements of condemnation against Israeli attacks that violate the sovereignty of an Arab country, even for diplomatic compliments.

The stability of the Syrian government in the face of all the global challenges and conspiracies that were designed against it in the last decade is a clear proof of the government’s strength, internal cohesion and the transparency of its institutions’ perspective, which remained loyal to its land, history and people.
The time has come for the Arab countries to return to Syria and help stabilize and rebuild it, because the strength and stability of Syria is the strength of the Arab nations.
Among the examples that Arab countries deserve to adopt in their relations with Syria is the example of the Sultanate of Oman, which refused to vote on the decision to suspend Syria’s membership (in the Arab League).
The doors of the Sultanate of Oman’s embassy in Damascus have remained open over the past years, and its flag is flying as a testimony of Oman’s solidarity with Syria in all the tragedies it has gone through, and this solidarity with Syria is still standing.
It is now clear that the biggest issue in the Syrian crisis and the challenges it went through that made Israel dare to invade this country is the “disobedience” of the Arabs, which is about to face the persistence and clarity of the conspiracies that have been formed against Syria.
