A member of Yemen’s Ansarullah political council said in a sarcastic statement to the Arab League that it was not fair to leave Sudan.
Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Yemeni Ansarullah political council, tweeted: We call on the leaders of Saudi Arabia and the UAE and the Arab League countries to form a military force to regain legitimacy in Sudan. The Arab League and the Gulf Cooperation Council should also meet to approve military intervention in Sudan.
Al-Houthi’s remarks refer to the Arab League’s intervention in Yemen under the pretext of supporting fugitive Yemeni President Abd al-Mansour Hadi, whom Saudi Arabia and its coalition call “legitimate.”
He said sarcastically: It is not fair for the Arab League and the Gulf Cooperation Council to support the governments in the Arab countries that they claim are “legitimate” and leave Sudan!
