Al-Mohammadawi: The project to normalize relations with Israel is dead

One of the leaders of the Iraqi Badr faction Karim al-Muhammadawi said: We warn that the presence of the Iraqi Foreign Minister in the Israeli media is a message to lead Iraq and Iraqis to normalize relations with the Zionist regime.

According to Pak Sahafat news agency, Karim al-Mohammadawi called on the leaders of the Badr faction to conduct an investigation with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein for an interview with a network affiliated with the Zionist regime.

In an interview with Baghdad Al-Yawm, al-Mohammadawi stated: Relevant judicial or governmental institutions should immediately launch an investigation into Fouad Hussein for appearing in the Israeli media.

He emphasized: The Iraqi constitution and laws prohibit any contact with the Zionist regime.

This member of the Badr faction said: We warn that the presence of the Iraqi Foreign Minister in the Israeli media is a message to lead Iraq and Iraqis to normalize relations with Israel, and this is a dream that will never come true, no matter how much pressure is put on Iraq.

Al-Mohammadawi stated in the end: The project to normalize relations with Israel is dead, even if it is supported by political and governmental figures from within.

Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein had previously spoken to the Zionist network in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
