25 years in prison for a Saudi citizen for opposing the normalization of relations with Tel Aviv

Pak Sahafat – The Saudi court sentenced a Saudi citizen, who is known for opposing the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime, to 25 years in prison.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report, Lebanon’s Ahed news site wrote in a report: The Saudi authorities have completed their chain of oppression and intensified judicial sentences against anyone who opposes their plans and policies. This time, it is the turn of “Dawood Al-Ali”, a blogger who was arrested in 2020 for being active on the Twitter social network.

According to the European Human Rights Defenders Organization in Saudi Arabia, the Special Criminal Court in Riyadh, which is in charge of dealing with terrorist crimes, sentenced Dawood Al-Ali to 25 years in prison for his content on his personal Twitter page.

According to this report, Al-Ali, who is a resident of al-Ahsa city, is known for his strong opposition to the normalization of relations with the Zionists. Despite the repressive policy of the Saudi security institutions, without any fear or doubt, he turned his personal page on Twitter into a platform for criticizing the policy of traitors and supporting the cause of Palestine.

Al Ahad added: Despite the revelation of the arbitrary and unjust verdicts of the Saudi courts, which basically lack transparency, honesty and justice, it does not seem that the Saudi authorities intend to withdraw their brutal verdicts issued against political and social activists. These rules include all those who dare to say no to what they want to present as a fact.
