Algeria national team players stand in solidarity with Palestine

The players of the Algerian national team expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people, after the military operations carried out by the occupation army in the Gaza Strip recently.

“The Greens” carried on their necks scarfs in the colors of the Algerian and Palestine flags before the start of the friendly match that is currently bringing them together with their guest, the Mauritanian national team, at the “Mustafa Chaker” stadium in the Algerian city of Blida.

Many of the Algerian national team players, most notably Riyad Mahrez, the English star of Manchester City, and Ismail Ben Nasser, the Italian player of Milan, have previously expressed their solidarity with the Palestinians after the repeated attacks they were subjected to.

On the other hand, the names of the Algerian national team players (the African champions) were written on their shirts in Arabic in an unprecedented situation.
