The British government has sold 20 billion worth of military equipment to Saudi Arabia since the start of the Yemeni war, The Independent reported.

The Independent reported: Researchers and experts have confirmed that Britain has provided 20 billion worth of weapons and military equipment to Saudi Arabia since the start of the Yemeni war in 2015, the British newspaper.

The figures were revealed by researchers entering official records and arms manufacturers, who said they were three times higher than expected.

According to official government figures; British officials have signed 6. 6.7 billion worth of arms sales for bomb, missile and aircraft exports since Saudi Arabia began bombing Yemen in 2015.

The experts also examined the accounts of well-known companies selling arms to Saudi Arabia and found that the revenue of a single company funded by the Saudi Ministry of Defense and Aviation was between 17 billion between 2014 and August 2019.

As a result, experts estimate the true value of exports at around 20 billion.
