Israeli colonization at the Cannes Film Festival; Palestinian artists gave up

The influence of the Zionist regime’s policies has also reached the Cannes Film Festival; in a way, an attempt was made to end a Palestinian film called Zionists.

A number of Palestinian artists and actors attending the Cannes Film Festival in France have canceled their participation.

The actors issued a statement saying they could not ignore the controversy at the Cannes Film Festival; because in this festival, the Palestinian film “But Sabah” (until morning) will be considered as an Israeli film.

Citing the statement, Sama News Agency reported that the Zionist regime has been continuing its colonial, ethnic cleansing and expulsion of the Palestinian people for decades.

These Palestinian artists stressed that they refused to accept that their film should end in the name of the Zionist regime; A regime that uses violence against the Palestinian people.

According to Palestinian artists, silence in the face of such crimes legitimizes racism and justifies the Zionist regime’s violence against the Palestinian people.

The actors issued a statement saying they could not ignore the controversy at the Cannes Festival; because in this festival, the Palestinian film “But Sabah” (until morning) will be considered as an Israeli film.

Expressing pride in appearing in such a Palestinian film about the problems of the Palestinian people, the actors stressed that considering the film as Israeli is in line with the policy of the Zionist regime.
