Suspicious death of an Israeli intelligence officer in prison

The Israeli website Yedioth Ahronoth wrote in an article titled “An intelligence officer arrested, accused and died in prison: a story hidden by the Ministry of Defense”:

For more than half a year, the Israeli army dealt a heavy blow to a serious incident that ended about two weeks ago with the death of an officer in a military prison. People around him insist that “he did not commit suicide.”

Israel imposed heavy deterrent and censorship orders on a serious incident that ended about two weeks ago with the death of an officer in prison. It can now be announced that this is an intelligence officer who was arrested in September and charged with certain crimes that should not be identified.

The security officer, who was being held in the new military prison in Beatles under special circumstances, lost his life. The officer’s family says that, contrary to some claims, the officer did not commit suicide.

The hearings in this case were also held behind closed doors for more than six months at the request of the Israeli authorities without informing the public. Now, with the death of the officer, the indictment against him was lifted and the publication ban was slightly reduced.
