The Saudi security apparatus summoned Lajin al-Hazlul

The family of Saudi legal activist Lajin al-Hazlul said he was summoned by Saudi security forces three months after Lejin was released.

Alia al-Hadhloul, the sister of Saudi legal activist Lajin al-Hadhloul, told the Associated Press: The Office of the Director General of Investigations of the Saudi Ministry of Interior summoned Lejin al-Hazloul and asked her to sign a “notification” on the Supreme Court’s decision on the appellate court’s ruling.

Saudi Arabia is facing a lot of criticism because of the Lajin al-Hazloul case.

She was arrested in June 2017 and spent 33 months in prison. Legin was released in February 2020, but is banned from traveling and from talking about her detention.
