Yemeni army forces reached seven kilometers from Ma’rib

Yemeni army forces and popular committees advanced near the city of Ma’rib, seven kilometers from the city.

Military sources in the Yemeni province of Ma’rib said that Yemeni army and Ansarullah forces had reached seven kilometers from the city of Ma’rib by taking control of several other areas.

According to Al-Khobar Al-Yameni, the forces of the Sana’a government were able to complete the siege of the militants of the resigned government more than before, and if this siege is completed, the freedom of the people will be achieved in practice.

Meanwhile, military and medical sources in Ma’rib said that 100 resigned government militants had been killed and wounded in clashes in Ma’rib province yesterday (Friday), and that Ma’rib medical centers and hospitals had admitted that number. Colonel “Abdullah Mohammad Al-Hamza”, the commander of the Hadi government’s militias in the “Al-Kasara” area, was also among the wounded. Moin al-Wali, one of the commanders of the brigade known as Al-Saqour, was also killed.

The main clashes in recent days have taken place in the Al-Kasara and Al-Mashjah areas, and the clashes are still going on in these areas.

Meanwhile, the Qatari newspaper Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed reported that the Saudi coalition had sent nearly 2,000 new militants to Ma’rib and had made every effort to prevent the liberation of the city.
