Yemeni Human Rights: The Saudi coalition has 18 secret prisons in Taiz

Pak Sahafat – A spokesman for the Yemeni High Council for Human Rights said Thursday night that the Saudi coalition has 18 secret prisons in Taiz, where it brutally tortures prisoners.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from Al-Masira, “Talat al-Sharjabi” added: The aggressor coalition brought mercenaries from different parts of the city of Taiz to ignite the fire of war.

He added that the aggressor coalition wants to involve the people of Taiz in partition projects to undermine the unity of Yemen.

A spokesman for the Yemeni Supreme Human Rights Council also said: We have a comprehensive view of humanitarian, military and other cases.

Al-Sharjabi also commented on the Yemeni delegation’s visit to the Jordanian capital Amman to review the ceasefire in the country: We have concerns about the performance of the other side, because they have no authority and are not decision makers.

Earlier, Ansarallah spokesman Mohammad Abdul Salam tweeted that the Saudi coalition had not adhered to the terms of the Yemeni ceasefire.

The Yemeni Supreme Political Council also announced at a meeting chaired by Mehdi al-Mashat that the extension of the ceasefire depends on the evaluation of the current stage.

The Yemeni Supreme Political Council called on the coalition to adhere to the terms of the current ceasefire, which expires on June 2, and the issues raised in the ceasefire to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, such as the opening of transportation routes in the province.

The UN special envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, has previously claimed that the ceasefire was being extended without mentioning the continuation of the Saudi aggression against Yemen.

On April 26, Saudi Arabia launched a large-scale offensive against Yemen, the poorest Arab country, in the form of a coalition of several Arab countries, including the UAE, with the help and green light of the United States and the support of the Zionist regime.

Contrary to the Saudis’ expectations, their attacks hit the stronghold of the Yemeni people’s resistance, and after seven years of stability and painful Yemeni strikes deep into Saudi territory, particularly the Aramco facility, Riyadh was forced to accept a ceasefire in hopes of exiting the Yemeni war.
