Yemeni Defense Minister: We have strategic deterrent weapons

The Minister of Defense of the Yemeni National Salvation Government, while visiting the army forces and popular committees in the border areas with Saudi Arabia, said that it was time for the invading enemy to leave the territory of Yemen.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, Maj. Gen. Mohammad Nasser al-Atefi, Minister of Defense of the Yemeni National Salvation Government (based in Sanaa), met with army forces and people’s committees based in the Jizan front on the border with Saudi Arabia.

According to Al-Masira website, while greeting Ansarullah leader Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin al-Houthi and the head of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, and congratulated the forces stationed in Jizan, he said that Despite the aggression and the siege, the Yemeni Armed Forces are determined to develop the quality and technology of their weapons, and at the same time they are ready for a just and honorable peace, as well as for the worst.

Al-Atefi added: “The Yemeni Armed Forces have a high level of combat capability in all areas of the sea, land and air, as well as high-tech strategic deterrent weapons.”

The Minister of Defense of the Government of Sanaa emphasized: “The Yemeni forces are acting on the basis of the Qur’anic principle of ‘An Adtam Adna’ [the principle of reciprocity], which is based on the justifications and recommendations of the wise and sincere leadership of our revolution.”

Declaration of ceasefire and commitment of the aggressors again in the Yemeni war

The Yemeni Defense Minister also announced the official conspiracy and agreement of the aggressor coalition countries that they intend to hand over Yemen to the Zionist regime and the Western countries that support it in exchange for the fulfillment of some demands.

Yemeni sources also reported last April that the United Arab Emirates has opened an airport with the Zionist regime on Abdul Kuri Island in the archipelago of Socotra (southern Yemen).

On the other hand, Kamal Al-Sharafi, Commander of the 105th Brigade stationed on the Jizan Front, while appreciating the visit of the Minister of Defense and his entourage, stressed the full adherence to the commands and recommendations of the commanders regarding the commitment to fire and at the same time high vigilance and preparedness for repeated violations.

The two-month ceasefire in Yemen began on April 5, and most of it has passed; However, repeated ceasefire violations, from artillery attacks to the continuing siege of Yemen, have dashed hopes of renewing the status quo, with only a month and a half after the announcement of the ceasefire and widespread protests by the Sanaa government only today (Monday). The first flight took place from Sanaa Airport to Jordan, and ships carrying fuel are still not allowed to dock in the port of Al-Dida.

In this regard, “Mohammad Abdul Salam”, the official spokesman of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, stated a few days ago that the Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition is still violating the ceasefire in this country.
