Has Riyadh given in to the demands of Yemen’s Ansarullah?

Pak Sahafat – Some sources reported the latest developments between Yemen’s Ansarullah and Riyadh and that Saudi Arabia has agreed to Sanaa’s demands.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, Al-Akhbar newspaper quoted informed sources and announced that an agreement has been reached between Sana’a and Riyadh regarding the extension of the current ceasefire in Yemen after Saudi Arabia gave in to the demands of Yemen’s Ansarullah, the main of which is the case of government employees’ rights.

These sources added: Salaries will be paid according to the lists of 2014 and in foreign currency, which will be transferred to Sana’a by a special monthly flight. Also, flight destinations from Sana’a airport will be expanded and include Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, India and Malaysia. Also, all import restrictions to Hodeidah port will be removed.

The mentioned sources revealed: The Saudi delegation led by the Saudi ambassador to Yemen, Muhammad Al-Jaber, went to Sana’a after the departure of the Omani delegation and held direct negotiations with Ansarullah in order to finalize the new ceasefire agreement.

These sources stated: During the second trip of the Omani delegation, this delegation had a meeting with the Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Ansarullah forces, who addressed the Omani delegation and showed the map of all the sensitive and vital centers that Ansarullah can target and emphasized that if Sana’a airport is closed Riyadh airport will not be allowed to remain open.

The mentioned sources added: these threats have led to the recent agreement and the agreement to extend the ceasefire is in its final stages.
